FAQ: How does this differ from a Developmental Edit?
In a Developmental Edit, which is only applicable to finished drafts, Livy reads through your entire manuscript, charging per word, and delivers 10 or more pages of detailed feedback addressing areas such as plot, character, and theme. The author is then able to go through and make their desired changes, but aren't handed a through, A to Z roadmap of how to plot their story and fix vital areas. In the Story Mapping package, Livy will discuss your story concepts with you, craft an amazing outline FOR you, that you can either follow, step-by-step, or take the suggestions you like, and throw away all rest! This works great for manuscripts at ANY stage of the process, or even the pre-writing stage! Fixing major issues before you actually start writing is an amazing way to save money AND time!
Can I use this for story concepts that aren't fully developed yet?
Absolutely! This Deep Dive is a great option for ideas that you're playing around with, but can't seem to iron out all the details. This also works great for projects that you're feeling stuck on, and wish you had someone who could come alongside and breathe some new life into it!
If Livy submits plot ideas for my work, does that mean I need to credit her as a co-author?
Absolutely not!
